Scope’s mission is to support people with a disability to achieve their potential in welcoming and inclusive communities. The Specialist Services team works alongside children and adults and their families and a wide range of community services, including kindergartens, schools, disability organisations and community groups to support this mission.

Due to increasing demand and a current vacancy, Scope requires an additional Speech Pathologist to join our energetic team in Gippsland. Applications from experienced Speech Pathologists would be preferred. The position offers a diverse range of learning opportunities while providing individual therapy, group programs, behaviour support and community development. The position is full time.

Successful applicants will have the competencies necessary to support positive relationships and the learning of others. They will support people to achieve their goals through information provision and assistance to mobilise resources from within their support networks and other services. Current practicing membership with Speech Pathology Australia, a driver’s licence and the ability to successfully work within a team environment are essential. Clinical support and training will be available.

The position is located in Warragul with travel to other areas in Gippsland. Warragul is a large country town, close to Melbourne, beaches, wineries and mountains. It offers excellent schools, sporting opportunities and an active arts and entertainment program. Scope offers a competitive salary and includes the benefits of salary packaging.
