Advice from the professionals 3 Years, 1 Month ago
It is our aim that as the site grows more healthcare and educational professionals will see the benefits of becoming members themselves to gain access to our professional resources sections. We will be giving these professionals access to resources they can use in their practices and with their patients / students. Part of the professional registration process enables us to validate who they are, and what qualifications they hold. It is our hope that these professionals will see the value in what we are doing and wish to participate, by spending some time on the forums, and if we are lucky becoming forum moderators themselves. Hopefully this will mean that we will have a range of healthcare and educational professionals spending time on the forums, answering your questions and giving differing perspectives based on their experiences. This will give us a greater depth, and provide our users with a broader platform to seek answers and advice.
It is not our intention that this website, and especially the forum, replace actual face to face professional advice. Everybody is different, and every situation has the potential to hold many complexities. This website and advice / suggestions given on the forum are intended to be complementary to visits to your regular healthcare or educational professional, not replace them. We wish to provide a place to access a greater degree of general knowledge about a very complicated and diverse range of issues.
