lisp - looking to try sort it out 1 Year, 11 Months ago
Im 24 and ive had a problem with my S pronunciation, everything else is fine, since i was able to speak. I did visit a speech therapist when i was young, but not since i was 5or 6. I get told my lisp isnt too bad and i cant really notice it all that much, nevertheless im definitely aware of it, and im finally looking to do something about it. Anyone able to advise me on whats the best way to get therapy?

Hi Geraldo22,

If you can't find a speech therapist locally, I can offer you an online service. It is like face-to-face, but I speak to you over clear line (like Skype), I present pictures etc on the screen and you see them. We then work though a series of speech therapy exercises and I email any information or exercises you need. I am a qualified speech therapist and have conducted lisp speech sessions online before. Online sessions are usually cheaper as well. Have a look at my Online Therapy page on the icommunicate website. Let me know if you are interested.
